Jazzamoart and the fest of the brush
By Antonio Rodríguez
Of all the artists in recent decades, Jazzamoart in particular has stirred attention for the originality of his art, his uncommon, but now widely known, pseudonym and for the audacity of his methods. Without being excessive, his work is figurative enough to set itself clearly apart from abstraction as his dogma. The young artist gave his characters a set of massive eyes, which form a triangle and make up the entire face and with multiple strokes, they cover the body. To a certain extent, these paintings are reminiscent of Jackson Pollock’s style and the expression takes from the horrorific elements of Willem de Kooning’s work.
